Over the past week I have been compiling data from Amazon's Search Terms reports and Product Opportunity Explorer to solve the question: exactly what is the average click share % by rank? For this I pulled the top 200 terms and matched them up with their closest niche category in Opportunity Explorer. Of course there were niches that were obviously skewed by brand names, which I tried to weed out. Below you will find the averages. Why is this important? With these averages if you're unable to find data for your category you can: - Put a monetary price on the cost of moving up organic positions. - Estimate traffic lost and gained by rank changes. - It can even be used to forecast for upcoming selling seasons where historical data has been skewed by COVID. A lot of sellers are missing out on these two amazing tools in Seller Central. #ecommerce #amazonfba #amazonppc #amazonadvertising
Amazing insights!! About estimating cost of moving in the category, additional click count needed to move up can be multiplied with avg CPC. For estimation and budgeting purposes.
